My life
My life has begun in the beautiful Milan of the 70's.
At that time Milan was the dreamland for all the Italian people who wanted to succeed. Infact my parents were two beautiful persons from the Oltrepo' pavese (the country at the very south of Lombardy) who started their life together moving to the "big city".
At the elementary school I had two teachers who were able to nurture my passion for Math and I think I never let them down.
I always had a lot of fun at school (middle and high) and a lot of friends inside and outside it.
I loved to go to school and to learn new things. I loved technology and videogames.
I saw myself the whole history of videogames from Colecovision to Kinect.
I started travelling the world when I was very young. I will never forget my first trip to UK.
I crossed the Atlantic with my mind when I was 12 and with my body when I was 20.
I loved sports when they were played by the others!
At University I chose Engineering because I did really like to see where theory meets reality, where numbers meet facts.
I started working for the biggest Microelectronics firms in Italy where I first saw how software meets hardware and there I met the girl who is still the love of my life.
I later found a job in the most famous Information Provider of the planet where I started an exciting journey on that path where finance and technology dance together. I am still working for this great company and stll enjoying the power of being leader in our market.
In 9/11 I was in Sardinia, right in the middle of paradise when the worst men on earth made evil come true.
Roberta and I chose a house to start our life together. I moved to Seregno, a small city in Brianza where I still live today.
One night in July in Berlin Italy soccer team defeated France and we won the world cup. Unforgettable emotion.
I got married with Roberta. We chose to live that magic just the two of us. We got married in Vegas. The greatest day of my life. It was the year Apple released first generation iPhone. I passed by an Apple Store and I saw longest queue of my life. I didn't understand the magic that was in that incredible device.
Now I am typing on an iPad touchscreen proud to have been the very first Italian citizen who owned an iPad in early April 2010.
